Sea Terminal

Everyone visiting Hong Kong has probably seen or visited the Ocean Terminal. Now there is the Cruise Terminal at Kai Tak's old runway. But much earlier there was the Sea Terminal. The text related to this image only states it was on the Kowloon peninsula. However it didn't seem to fit in with pictures of the very busy activities of HK & Kowloon Wharves Ltd where most of the passenger liners docked. Prior to the Ocean Terminal being built for a 1966 opening, the Sea Terminal was opened circa 1962. A long search has found that it was located at the opposite end of the HK Kowloon Wharves complex at Navy Street and the government dockyard, far away from where passenger ships berthed at the piers. How did that work?
