The time of friendship between the MU and the American Consulate. Here I receive an award from the State Dept. for the work the MU did in close quarter combat training for the consulate marine guard. This was at the time of baddies in foreign locals walking towards buildings/people and detonating suicide bombs Left is the US Director Firearms Training Shep. Kelly a ex Captain in Special Forces (Army Rangers Div) with war, grenade schrapnel wounds to his legs. I still have the award this day.
