The occupant at that time being George Benjamin Dodwell. the residence in the background appears to be Bangour RBL 35. Date picture taken 1899 Shows place(s) La Hacienda - RBL 21 - (1st generation) [1880-????] Bangour (Jardines) [1880-????] Log in or register to post comments Comments Interesting to find out that Interesting to find out that indeed there used to be a road linking Peel Rise to La Hacienda in the old days. We were in the area recently trying to follow the path following the altitude line from upper peel rise to the ridge to Matilda which follows mostly pipelines. Despite great views into the valley, sadly not much of a path left and after reaching Bangour it was so overgrown that we had to head uphill straight towards Matilda only to find a Japanese tunnel entrance linking to the Matilda AOP.
