I wonder whether anyone can recall the lady who resided on Battery Path in the 60's, whose clothes were all made from one bolt of cloth. From head to toe, she would be wearing a skirt, top, hat and I even think a belt and purse - all made (presumably by herself), from the same patterned fabric.
And yet I am almost certain she was homeless? She did ask for money, and my mother would always give her some coins. My mother worked in HK Bank just across the street, my father worked in CGO, above Battery Path, so they would see her often.
Anyone else recall her?
