There used to be a street called Wing On Street in Central where most of the vendors on both sides were selling fabrics. Owing to a hugh redevelopment project (The Centre) only a small fraction of these vendors moved to Western Market in Sheung Wan. Wing On Street disappeared together with a few other streets of the block. The photo could be taken in Wing On Street.
