This shows the steep embankment between Bowen and May Roads which is now overgrown and not as obvious. It also shows the concrete steps beside the track. 70 years ago, my nine-year old self decided to walk up these steps, but misjudged how long it would take to reach May Road before the next tram arrived. This caused the tram to slam on the emergency brake while I scuttled down the embankment.
