Always remembered that the "cricket ground" was the Craigangower Cricket Club! Hope I am correct... Always thought it wonderful that the ground was slap bang in the centre of the business district. Where else in the world....?
Ah,no worries; I stand corrected! Still love the fact it was where it was. The ground must have been worth a fortune, no wonder it was built on - a shame all the same.

Not the Craigengower Club ground,that was a much smaller ground backing onto the football ground.
This is HKCC in the middle of the business district.
