Playground Location
This looks like the playground at Maple Street and Cheung Sha Wan Road looking north.
re: Playground location
I tend to agree with Moddsey's suggestion that the photo shows Southorn Playground in Wanchai. (Now all the photos are up, one of the tasks will be to go back and add the notes from that earlier discussion about them).
The view looks like it was taken from a tram running along Johnston Road, looking across to the Luard / Hennessy junction in the far corner.
The photo shows 'pen shelters' were built along the south and west sides of the playground.
