Management seemed to be in trouble balancing the books. The Park was profitable under Allan Zeman's leadership then. Whoever succeeded him didn't seem to know how to run it.
They are now considering putting the Water World up for tender to get someone else to run it, so as to cut lost. No idea what it may become at the moment.
A note. A recent visit to the Park confirmed they have shutdown the outdoor escalater linking up this previous entrance and the Summit. It had been boarded up at the top.
