Hi there,
I suspect the photographer was standing on the NW corner of Shan Tung Street at Sai Yeung Choi Street.
At least the building sans decorations looked the same. On the other hand, the shop Dollar Studio "壹圓照相館” as shown may have an off shoot of it selling photography equipments at the same spot.
