Barbara Anslow:
Her mother was Japanese/German, her father English. He was working in Shanghai when the Japs attacked, and died there during the war (probably killed by Japs.) In Stanley with Leilah were her mother, her sister Edith and Edith's husband Arthur, and their children Mavis and Richard Hamson. Leilah, now widowed, lives in Canada and we often chat on the phone.
