Andy, who worked for the Standard Chartered Bank, wrote a short but interesting book about his time in Stanley Camp in (I think) the early 80's, entitled "A Yen For My Thoughts."
Gerald Andrew Leiper was posted to Hong Kong in May 1939 and continued his work with the Chartered Bank as a sub-accountant. He appears in the 1941 Jurors List.
