1910 Pokfulum Road

A small size photo. Rather blurry but photo appears in an album "Through Hong Kong With A Camera" by J. Arnold, 1910.

Noticed the stone on Pokfulum Road on the left. A "City of Victoria Boundary  Stone" or one of the mile markers from the city to Aberdeen?

We've got a sharper copy at https://gwulo.com/media/29584/zoom, but unfortunately "Through Hong Kong With A Camera" was printed on a printing press rather than by the photographic process, so it still isn't possible to see if there is any text on the stone. It is certainly the right shape to be one of the city boundary stones:

Hi There,

Checked Google Maps and found the ridge line appeared to be a match despite I wasn't able to see the ridge until I was on the present day North bound lanes.  The photo also showed how narrow the road used to be.
