Blue print of the Fountain
Blue print of the fountain could be found in the 1938 map of Duke Street. Plus the right side of the building with the front gate to the left edge of the image.
The structure behind the fountain, was the two cars garage and storage.
Those triangular edgers were hollow green ceramic "bricks", matching the dark green wood frame of windows on the building. Same with the flower pots sitting on the edge of the fountain to the right of the daughter of Mr. Jan, the late Dora Choy, "Jan Mei Hing" in "Cantonese Chinese", she was a college student at the time, attending Hong Kong University before the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong-Christmas Day 1940 for " 3 years 8 months " when she survived the hardship by having sweet potato peels/skin to survive.
