Ho Man Tin Estate 何文田邨 (first generation) [1973-2001]

Ho Man Tin Estate was formerly a government low-rent housing estate. It was completed in 1973. There are 8 new low-rent buildings, as well as the Church of Christ in China Jihao Primary School (中華基督教會基浩小學) and Chen Ruiqi (La Salle) Primary School (陳瑞祺（喇沙）小學) (the former was demolished when the estate was demolished in 2001; the latter was demolished in 2009 after being moved to Delan Middle School in 2007). The original site was the Ho Man Tin Cottage Resettlement Area (平房區) built after the war - Ho Man Tin New Village and Man Wah Village, as well as the squatter area on the side of the mountain.
In 1997, the government rebuilt one of the recreational parks in the old Ho Man Tin Estate into a 40-story harmonious building named "King Man Building". It became the first Harmony Block style public housing in Ho Man Tin Estate. In 2000, the remaining 8 new buildings were completed in Quarry Hill, and the old buildings were demolished in 2001.
