I think the building under construction might be Branksome, Grenville House should be off camera to the left of Century Tower 1. Branksome opened in 1976 so if that is the building in question the date can be moved forward to 1974/5.
Phil, you are right. The slim high-rise on the left is likely Century Tower I from 1971, and Branksome is right of it. Your estimate for the date is likely correct.
Hi marlowe, if May Tower opened in 1974, I propose that you should correct the opening date of the place you created some time ago (May Towers [1975- ]) from 1975 to 1974.

That should be where Garden Road meet Macdonell Road (out of frame), where the site had been redeveloped. YWCA still stands though.
The concrete structure at the left bottom of the photo is the foot bridge towards the Botenical & Zoological Garden across.

Should work when clicking on "Edit", then "Additional information", then editing "Date completed".
