In case it is a useful comparison, I should like to upload my photos of a lithograph titled "Hong Kong and the Town of Victoria dedicated by special permission to the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company". The artist was E. Walker and the lithographs were published by Ackermann & Co. in 1851. The existing buildings are distinctly labelled. I apologize for the reflections on the glass and for disconnect between the six sections. I have given the sections my own titles: 1) Beyond East Point 2) Jardine Matheson 3) Happy Valley 4) Chief Justice's Residence 5) Barracks 6) West Point but other buildings are designated beneath each section. I shall start here with no. 1 "Beyond East Point" in which no buildings are designated.
