Are there any markings on the slide holders? Sometimes they have a date and / or sequence number printed on them. If there is it might help identify this scene by looking at the photos immediately before and after in the sequence to see where your family were when these photos were taken.
Thanks for the suggestion. I've had a look at the slide and can't find any useful markings. According to the list my Mum made the slides immediately before this are of Aberdeen Harbour so I it suggests that it was taken there.
