My father worked here in 1960, it was called Batty's as far as I know but this could have been a nick name. At the time it was part of the Air Ministry and they worked overnight as well as days, listening to China I believe. He wore a bakelite type headset with little cotton covers over the earpiece that we washed for him. It then became part of the new Composite Signals Organisation Stations (CSOS) along with Little Sai Wan and Tai Mo Shan stations. I think dad was transferred to LSW in 1963.
