I was a frequent customer of Chan Tuck as I was a floating staff in the merchant navy. I got all my summer white and winter blue (that was odd as the winter blue was black), number ten and even work overall there. The workmanship was very good and even garnered praises from abroad.
I felt comfortable doing my business there as they were professional and courteous. Another good reason is that, had I shopped for my uniform black tie elsewhere, I would get a sympathetic I’m-sorry-for-you-loss look. Those were the good old days.
