Looks as if there is a cemetery in the back. Can anyone identify the location? And the car?

The car is a Ford Popular 103E built in England between 1953 and 1959. The front grill certainly does resemble an early BMW but the Ford ''Pop'' was a car for the everyman. Built in large numbers, about 155,000, many have now been turned into 'Hot Rods' with huge V8 engines replacing the original small 1172cc 4 cylinder engine.

This is a Ford Anglia E494A as it has two windscreen wipers  near the bonnet which is different to Ford Popular, which has only one windscreen wiper and is situated near the top of the windscreen. The Ford Anglia E494A  is shown in the following link.

Hi Stanley, yes, it looks like a Ford Anglia. I've checked the dates on Wikipedia: Ford Anglia E494A was built in England between 1948 and 1953. So I will change the date to 1950 (although this seems not to be very important). Regards, Klaus

P.S. Please check the link you posted to a photo on Gwulo, it doesn't work.
