I've set the demolition date to 1928.

Item S.260 in the 1928 Gazette asks for "Tender for Wongneichong Village Development, Removing existing school and re-erecting on new site", to be received on or before None on 4 Sep 1928.

Then item 107 in the PWD Annual report for 1928 says: 

(a.) The construction a new school consisting of 3 rooms with accommodation for 90 pupils to replace the old village school which was demolished to permit of the development of the area to Town-Planning layout. The contract was let to Messrs. Tun Tai & Co. on the 24th of September for the sum of $8,961.30 and the work was nearing completion by the end of the year.

Tenders will be received at this Office, until Noon of the 5th proximo, for repairing, cleaning, and colouring the following School Houses, viz. :—

Central School, Sai-ying Pun School, Su-kun-po School, Shai-Wan School, Shau-ki Wan School, Wong-nai-Chung School, and Wanchai School.

The Specification can be seen on application at the Surveyor General's Office, where also a proper form of tender may be obtained.

The Government will not bind itself to accept the lowest, or any Tender.

Addendum: the school is already mentioned in the Blue Books 1871.
