Thanks for the suggestion. Having looked at Google Street View, I think that you are right. The narrowness of Wing Lok Street and the bend to the left in the distance look the same as on Ewart’s photograph.
Indeed it is around 65 wing lok street. In 1952, it is the address of the second shop on the right which was a pharmacy called 中發藥行. (next to the barber shop). The picture was taken around wing lok street-man wah ln junction looking east. On 2022 google map, it is now the Nirvana coffee shop.

This was a cobbled street. Maybe Jervois Street closer to the Wester Market end? At least the bend appear to match.

It's not Jervois Street . There was no barber shop at Jervois Street, most probably Wing Lok Street looking east
