I remember the two buildings on Wanchai Road with slaunted roof was still there in the 1970s until they were pulled down for the present day CC Wu Building. I have a vague impression that they are sort of a godown, but could be something else.
Picture from the 1920s. One can see at least 4 godowns. The 204 and 208 Wanchai road godowns still there in 1937 and 1970s. The 208 probably had been rebuilt after 1937 with the top removed. The windows looked different too. The 212 and 214 Wanchai road godowns became residential buildings already in 1937.
