These are the R.E.M.E. Billets within Sham Shui Po barracks. I arrived here on 10 mar. 1957 after 5 weeks at sea and 1 night in Whitfield barracks, my posting was to R.E.M.E. Command workshops,Sham shui Po, Kowloon. Was here for 5 months, in hut 157B.before being posted 1st Royal Tank Reg. In Sek Kong.
I was staioned in Shamshuipo from 1968 to 1970 with 50 Command Workshops REME and lived in Jubilee Buildings before moving to a new flat in Osborn Barracks.
