This is now a wedding venue (My Garden). However, the old wall in front seems to remain and the large tree hanging over the wall (seen in Google Maps street view) is likely the original tree which the children of the home used to climb.
Chris, what a great picture, many thanks for sharing - I certainly prefer the 1950's version. I think it was a nursing home before it (and #7) was bought/leased by a wedding company and turned into a reception venue. Number 7 was a love motel (called Romantic Hotel) previously but has been turned into a rather tacky looking faux chapel called "My Palace".
