Phillip Bruce wrote extensively about Hong Kong's history, both in full book format (Second to None: The Story of the Hong Kong Volunteers, published by Oxford University Press), and a selection of self-published booklets. These are the booklets I know of (thanks to Robert Nield for helping compile this list). If you know of any more, please leave a comment below.
- Hong Kong History Notes. (Issues 1 & 2)
- Hong Kong Military History Notes. (Issues 1-7)
- Lyemun Barracks
- The Bogue Forts (1988, then reissued in 1996)
- The Story of Old Swatow (1988)
He was a member of the Hong Kong branch of the Royal Asiatic Society, and their journal has his obituary. (Thanks to Peter Crush for the link.)

I am saddened to learn that Mr. Bruce had passed away. I communicated with him via email years ago, and he was helpful.
I found a blog entry about him: http://chrisslade.blogspot.com/2016/07/phillip-bruce-he-never-wasted-wo…
In addition to those listed in the blog entry, the following seem to be his:
