DoB from John Black's list, which gives Mr Owen's occupation in 1941 as "Architect".

He is listed on page J112 of the 1939 Blue Book as an Architect in the Public Works Department. The date of the appointment to the position, and of his first appointment to the Hong Kong civil service, is 29th Jan, 1925.
