A long shot, but I'd be interested in any surviving photos of Stuart and Florence Deacon dating from 1916-1923. I'm trying to identify a middle-aged woman, clearly a friend of the family, who appears in photos with my grandfather, Charles Warren and my uncle, Leslie Warren, between these dates. Florence Deacon (with her husband) was one of the few women to attend my grandfather's funeral in 1923. Perhaps the Deacons have surviving grandchildren or great-grandchildren, or perhaps there is a wedding photo of their daughter, Irene Braudé, that includes them.
David has drawn my attention to the 1941 group photo of the HKVD volunteer nurses (http://gwulo.com/atom/19634) which shows Florence Deacon at 3m. I had missed it. Thank you David - and thank you Gwulo for providing this means of identification. Florence Deacon is too young to be the mystery woman friend who appears in my family photos of 1916-23, but it's really nice to be able to see what she looked like and to be able to eliminate her. I can now move on.
