I was actually born in that hospital in 1946. I was delivered by Dr Wong Tse-chuen who was the then Medical Officer of the hospital and who resided at that point within walking distance at 1 Ning Yeung Terrace. I can still remember, albeit vaguely, paying a number of visits to that hospital when I was a toddler.
