Deacons archive at HKU
A tree I manage on Geni.com was merged with another tree, each containing Charles David Bottomley, an attorney. So I did a new search on his name brought up an XL file with abstracts of lots of various transaction by Deacons.
This one was entry
" C D Bottomley and Mary Angell (Angele) - (1), Note on birth and baptism of Maria Louisa Emily Angele, with English translation. 1902 Feb 8, [language] Latin "
She was placed in the Italian Convent in Hong Kong. She was also listed elsewhere as Mary Louise Emily Angell, beneficiary of "Bottomley Trust". She shares two first names with Bottomely's wife.
Not being in Hong Kong I can't nip over to HKU to see what the document says.
There are lots of transactions regarding the Belilios Trust as well, which explains why our friend E.R. was able to die broke - he put all the assets in a Trust, and the Eyrie was owned by his wife.
Take a look:

Deacons Archive exhibition
There's a small exhibition of material from the archive on display at the HKU library until 30th of June. It's on the second floor, inside the barriers. I don't have a ticket, but asked at the barrier, was directed to the front desk, and went up to take a look.
There are only a few items, so not worth a special visit but call in if you're nearby. The few items on display suggest that the full archive will have lots of interesting information, eg property-related documents include maps of the area they're talking about, and one poster shows a document for Robert Basil LEVKOVICH:
