Queens Building, HK Island in “Soldier of Fortune” (1955)
“Here is another shot from the intro taken from the harbor right in front of Queen's Building - once again showing the large COOK'S sign on the harbor-side of the building.
It's not just the old buildings that I find fascinating, but also the almost complete lack of development on the hillside at the back. It's difficult to see anything through the hundreds of high-rises these days. There are a few other things to spot though including the old HSBC building, the old Bank of China building, The Hong Kong Club (far left), what looks like the pitched roof of Blake Pier in the foreground and the former Leg Co building (aka Supreme Court) behind it.”

Copying / Linking
Hi Gen,
If you find an interesting photo on another website that adds information to a page here on Gwulo it's good to show us the photo if the owner is ok to have us copy it, or link to its page otherwise.
If you find yourself copying several pages of text and photos from another website like you've done with these Soldier of Fortune photos from Phil's website, it is definitely better to link to them instead. So instead of copying them here you could just say something like:
For more photos and information about the Hong Kong scenes in Soldier of Fortune, see Phil's pages at:
http://hongkongandmacaufilmstuff.blogspot.jp/search/label/Soldier%20of%…
That shows us the same information, without any risk of complaints from other websites about copying.
Regards, David
