The location is by the east end of the Kwun Yam Wan or the Afternoon Beach. The Rock is still around even today.
The skydiving from this rock was one of the many things kids would like to do there. In my days of the 1950s, over the deeper water, they dived to pickup corals or fishing with piercing stick. However one must be sensible enough to check on dangerous condition and calculate the risks before playing or swimming in this area. There were incidents of mishap, kids did get in trouble here.
The first high school I attended was very close to this KYW about just a minute's walk.
