A bit late, from a UK classic car magazine dated in 2003, a Ford Model T found as a wreck in a field in Hong Kong. Has it been rebuilt by now?

I tried to find the answer to what became of the car on Google, and turned up some useful information, but no definitive answer.

The chap mentioned in the article, Nick Ratcliffe -- full name Nicholas Digby Ratcliffe -- was founder and director of BMMK, Ratcliffe, Hoare & Co. Ltd., a committee member of the Classic Car Club Hong Kong and as recently as October 2006, Chairman of the MG Car Club of Hong Kong.

Sadly, the CCCHK newsletter noted his passing on 16 July 2011 at the age of 63. His company was wound up a few months later. You can see his obituary online courtesy of The Telegraph. It seems from the obit that at some point after this article, he'd moved to Penang. (Likely it was in or after October 2010, noted on his LinkedIn profile as the date he left BMMK, Ratcliffe, Hoare.)

But as noted, I'm afraid I don't have any info on whether the Model T was ever restored.

Thanks for the research. I had been wondering whether it would appear at one of the classic cars shows usually held in Central at this time of year. All parts to restore such a car are available from specialist dealers according to relevent motoring magazines adverts, although no doubt deep pockets are also needed to fund it.
