I am interested in Information/History and Photos of StoneCutter Island ADP. My father worked there post war till the mid 70s' Would like to connect with any one with some information. My father was the first Indian Police Inspector there. His name was Makhan Singh. Where can I get more information re the Gwulo officers at that time etc. Also if someone can share some photos it will be great!!.

Where was my father interned
Before the Japanese occupation my father was working at the Naval Dockyard.
During the Japanese Occupation he was interned in Hong Kong for the entire duration.
After the War father was working at Stonecutter Island ADP Inspector- Makhan Singh
he was there till mid 60s' and took an early retirement due to ill health.
Can someone help guide me as to where I can look to find out exactly where he was held?

In January, the camps were rationalised. North Point became the Canadian and Royal Navy Camp, Shamshuipo became the British Army and HKVDC camp, Ma Tau Chong was opened as the British Indian Army Camp, and ‘enemy’ civilians were sent to Stanley Internment Camp. Other civilian internment camps were opened at Rosary Hill and, later, Ma Tau-wai (which was the renamed Ma Tau Chung, after the remaining Indian POWs were finally moved from there to Argle Street late in the war).
