Hi
I have a photo of a soldier taken at a studio (39a Queens Road HongKong). It's in a mount that is embossed and the studio name appears to be A Omsby (or something similar)
We originally thought it was Frederick Crocker b.1884 who is listed in cemetery on your site. We have discovered that the Company C 2nd Batt Wiltshire Regiment was in Hong Kong circa 1920
We are trying to identfy the soldier and any info would be most welcome.

Hi, Is the photo online
Hi, Is the photo online anywhere we can see it? (Or you can upload it here.)
What information are you loking for?

Hi
Photo uploaded, finding the site very difficult to use, sorry.
I've also put this on RootsChat.com in the photos board

re: soldier circa 1920 wiltshire reg
Sorry, there isn't much I can add from a Hong Kong angle.
The full address of the studio is:
39A, Queen's Road, Central
Hong Kong
The Chinese characters for the company name look like 'Wah On' or 'On Wah', but they don't seem to match the English letters, unless they've spelled it "A On", maybe "A On & Co".
Does anyone recognise this studio, and can give a range of years when they were in operation?

Found this 1897 photo during Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. The shop on the right has the name A on & co 華安. There are two signs. One with only company name. One with both company name and the word "photography"
