This is all slightly baffling. I am sure it is indeed, a British designed, and probably built, sloop-type, revenue cutter. The jack, though, makes it certain that it was serving in the KMT Navy, rather than CMC, at the time of the mishap. A near sister of this type of ship is still serving with the Royal Thai Navy.
