An interesting point about this photo is that not only is the Temple there but the palm trees are still there and located in what is the Jewish Cemetery. I live opposite the school.

From our apartment we have a great view of the gardens at the rear of the temple (Tung Lin Kok Yuen). The gardens are immaculate & are so well looked after but aside from the gardeners there is nobody ever in there. This is obviously a very sacred area, there appears to be a tomb of some sort in the gardens also. I would love to know more about the history & importance of these gardens.
