Hi there,

According to Wing On's own website the Kwok's started it out in 1907.  A Wiki entry in Chinese supplemented they started on 28th June 1907 at 107-235 Des Voeux Road Central.  I believe their Flagship store moved to the existing location later at 211 Des Voeux Road Central, as shown in the photos above.  By the look of the block the building looked like similar buildings in the 1920's or 1930's.  That's  a very big question mark in my mind.

According to a property agent the present day Wing On Centre was completed in 1980, but I could not recall if the old building was still there in the late 1970's.  I would estimate the demolision date to be around 1975-76.
