HMS Flycatcher
HMS Flycatcher was the Royal Naval Air Section. It was paid off on 31 December 1947.
The RAF hangar at Tai Hom (small hangar) can also be seen :http://gwulo.com/node/1810
HMS Flycatcher
There was also an RNAS at Kai Tak called HMS NABCATCHER in the post war years.
Was this the same place, the name having been changed at some time?
Re: HMS Nabcatcher
Yes, HMS Nabcatcher was the forerunner to HMS Flycatcher and occupied the same site. The name change occurred in April 1947 after Nabcatcher was paid off and RNAS operations at Kai Tak wound down.
