I'm trying to find items that relate to Stanley before and after the war, to place the building of the Chapel in 1949/50 (on St. Stephen's College campus) in time. The thread above is where I found this lovely video of Wong Ma Kok Road.
It is also for this anniversary that I have added the "Stanley Waterfront" place - but perhaps should just include them in "Stanley Bay".
Since I live in Stanley Market, I'd enjoy putting up more history on the street for locals and visitors alike - perhaps in the Old Police Station that is now a Wellcome.
That picture is lifted from a scene in the movie Love is A Many Splendored Thing. That is William Holden and co star Jennifer Jones walking from their car down a path towards Stanley market and beach.
