Similar to the houses between the General Post Office and the Central Fire Station, there are more houses between the Central Fire Station and the Harbour Office that appear on many photos, simply because they were at the waterfront for some 60 years. This is the western extension of Connaught Road Houses between the Central Fire Station and the Harbour Office 1930
To get an impression about the buildings here is a map together with a photo (cropped from c. 1911 Sheung Wan waterfront) from around 1910.
The map is from 1922 (from HKMS 2.0). This one shows the houses 84-85 Connaught Road Central [c.1905-c.1933] (next to Sincere Department Store, marked in red).
The photo is annotated and the individual houses were grouped together. The grouping of houses used for the creation of places is somewhat arbitrarily but not completely at random. The grouped houses (places) are linked to the map.
These groups of houses have individual places on Gwulo.
West of Wing Wo Street it looks as if houses on 90-91 Connaught Road Central are under construction. This is the place of Sun Department Store, so this was attributed to the existing place on Gwulo.
