The shop sign on the left is for "Friesland ice Cream & Cold Storage". They were at 101-103 Hennessy Road, opposite Southorn Playground.

In the 1960s, I think the premises of the Friesland Ice Cream & Cold Storage became the location of the Suzie Wong Night Club.

Don't think it is the tenement building on Hennessy Road opposite Southorn Playground.
A post-war address for Mee Sun Furniture Co: 317-317A Hennessy Road. If the location had not changed, one would be looking in an easterly direction at the tenement building from the junction of Tonnochy Road.

If we look east from the junction of Tonnochy Road, the tenement building has a flat front.
But the building in the photo above bends to the left just after the Friesland building. (The bend is easier to see in how the white lines in the centre of the road in the foreground don't line up with the rest of Hennessy Road.) On modern maps the bend is at Yue Hing Building at 103 Hennessy Road, opposite the playground.
