Two pals return from a long walk up to the War Cemetery. Immediately through the gate on the right this builiding was the camp sick quarters and then the camp headquarters. The guard room was on the left just past a sentry box. This was the main entrance into the camp. There was a small gate on the oppostite side of the camp which provided a short cut round by the coast to Chai Wan. Below is how the old main entrance looked in 1987.
