This is another photo from the Ma On Shan page, all taken on the same day. My husband has just written 'junks' underneath this one. Does it look familiar to anyone?
I can see a sea wall in the background, leading to a building on the left.
It looks as though there's a van on the sea wall (next to third mast from left), meaning there was a road along the sea wall.
Does that sound familiar to anyone?
Without any knowledge of the original MOS coastline this is like finding a needle in a haystack. It could be either side of the water and the amount of reclamation that has been done on both sides means that any sea wall would probably have long gone.
It may be worth another trip to the mapping office for some aerial shots of the area?
