This signals intercept establishment , along with Tai Mo Shan (originally built by the Japanese as a radar station I believe), later became part of the Composite Signals Organisation (CSO), the Hong Kong outpost of the Government Communications Headquarters at Cheltenham. In the 1980s CSO moved to Chung Hom Kok and, prior to the development of the site, Little Sai Wan became the Temporary Seaman's Training Centre. I attended a firefighting course there in 1984, and the entrance looked about the same as in the photo, and there were still RAF markings to be seen on some equipment and buildings.
My dad was part of the security police for the CSO at Little Sai Wan during the 1960s. His office was just beyond the gate. I remember being astounded by the size of the Alsatian guard dog, I think his name was Lucky.
My dad worked there in the early 70s too. I was looking for photos to make up a Christmas present of the places my dad has worked. I put 'Little Sai Wan H.k.' into Google and found loads of images.
Dad will be 86 next week and is still as sharp as ever, although quite deaf from his job. Possible my dad worked with yours.

My dad used to also work at the gate as security. I remember a Dog called "lucky". My brother and I had great summers there swimming and playing tennis. Also camping. My dad was Peter jones and we were there in the 69's and 70's.
