Named after: Built to commemorate the 60th year of Queen Victoria's Reign.
Details:
The road commences at Kennedy Town and traverses the southern slopes of Mount Davis and the adjoining hills to Aberdeen. opening out en route a portion of the island which has hitherto been practically inaccessible. It is 5 miles long, has a width of 16 feet and is designed as a carriage road. (source)

- 1897: Stone to mark the commencement of “Victoria Road” was successfully laid by His Excellency the Governor on the 23rd June (Source)
- 1903: Street finished and taken over by the government in November (see Report)
- 1922 (possibly later): Street renamed to Victoria Road
- 19??: Lower part renamed to Shek Pai Wan Road (when the street was widened), Aberdeen Praya Road, and Aberdeen Main Road
