My name is Margot Gegg. I am the daughter of William Stanley Gegg, born in Hong Kong in 1920 when he was living with his mother, my grandmother, Edith Carlotta Ainslie, nee Johnson-Lee. Both my father and our grandmother were interned in POW camps when Hong Kong was captured by the Japanese. My father later immigrated to Australia and met my mother there. My siblings, Caroline and Bill and I never met our grandmother, nor do we know who her parents were and when they came to Hong Kong. We do know that both of her parents died in Penang Malaya in the 1920s. We would like to know anything we can about Edith's family.
