1 year 6 monthsMoved to Hong Kong as a child in 1975, attending Hong Kong International School in Repulse Bay for Grades 4/5/6. Lived at 31 Perkins Rd in Jardine's Lookout -- the (original) Cavendish Heights flats, not the larger complex apparently there now.
My father was a business executive heading-up Warner-Lambert Corporation's Far East Division, HQ'ed in Hong Kong (Cavendish Heights by now wasn't solely for HE Electric Co executives).
We moved back to the USA in 1978 and haven't been back to HK since. Many vivid, very sentimental memories of HKIS, Cavendish Heights, and my adventures as a little 'gweilo' in Hong Kong. While I'd love to go back, I know it's changed so much, I think it's best to just know it as it is in my memories.
Would love to hear from others with similar memories, especially of HKIS or Cavendish Heights.
