I am the granddaughter of a first-generation Chinese immigrant who moved from Hong Kong (Tai Po) to the UK in the mid-60s. I am currently writing a novel about the life of Chinese immigrants in Glasgow from the 1960s onwards. I would love to hear any relevant details/ anecdotes that people have or have knowledge of life during this time period and location.
